Jessie Jordan

Jesse Jordan, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2014. He was born June 26, 1929 in Ashland, Mississippi the son of John and Effie (Cox) Henry. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran and was retired from Ford Motor Company after 43 years. He was a member of the United Auto Workers in Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers. Jesse is survived by his sons, Charles Jordan of Alabama, and Rick Jordan of Indianapolis; 5 grandchildren, Bridgett Walker, Rickey Jordan, Jr., Laura Jordan, Robbie Jordan and Casey Jordan; great-grandchildren, Johnny Walker II, Kaylynn Jordan and Emma Jordan, and his wonderful caregiver Pam Straub. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan.
