Jessie Angeline Vartian McFadden

November 22, 1926- April 17, 2018

91, Jessie leaves behind a life- long legacy of loving well and being well loved.  Born in Detroit, she was a Registered Nurse and a resident of Carmel for the past 35 years. Her beautiful smile, listening ear, encouraging way, quick wit and helpful advice drew people to her…everybody wanted to be around Jessie!

Jessie leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband of 68 years, James McFadden; her four children, Jim (Carol), Dave, Greg (Pam) and Sharon (Rick); fifteen wonderful grandchildren, Jim, Tom, Rick, Shannon, Charrie, Shelley, Linsey, Bradley, Brian, Alicia, Lauren, Emily, Rachel, Brent and Chad. There are already fourteen great-grandchildren with the hope of many more to come.  She was preceded in death by her parents Philip Vartian and Mildred (Mason) Vartian, her siblings and their spouses: Marybeth (Bill) Derderian, Ross (Margaret) Vartian and Bill (Jane) Vartian.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 20 from 4:00 – 10:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel 325 East Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 21 at 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church 10655 Haverstick Rd., Carmel, with additional visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery.
