Jessica Rose Parrett, age 37 of Indianapolis, Indiana, affectionately known as "Aunt Jessy," passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026.

She was born on May 27, 1988 in Indianapolis, a daughter of Doug A. Parrett and Tracey (Freund) Parrett. She is preceded in death by her father: Doug A. Parrett on March 6, 2017.

She is survived by her loving mother: Tracey Parrett of Gosport, IN.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jessica's life was a vibrant tapestry of creativity, love, and dedication. A transaction analyst at Chase Bank, she balanced her career with her myriad passions and interests. Her creative spirit shone brightly in all that she did; from her love of music and crafts to her stunning floral arrangements. She especially loved going to Dave Matthew’s band concerts. She was also a fantastic cook.

An avid runner, Jessica shared an enduring bond with her late father, Doug Parrett, through their mutual love of running marathons. Her strength and determination were evident in every stride she took, both on the track and in life.

Jessica is survived by her devoted mother, Tracey Parrett of Gosport, Indiana; her brother Chad Parrett and his wife Audra of Bargersville, Indiana; her sister Brittany Dewbrew and her husband Zachary of Gosport, Indiana; and her cherished nieces and nephews: Penelope, Remington, Laine, and Ruger.

Jessica is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many other family members and relatives.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life of Jessica Rose Parrett—a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She was fantastic at photography that captured life's most cherished moments.

Jessica's heart was as boundless as her energy. She cherished her role as a beloved aunt, and her nieces and nephews—Penelope, Remington, Laine, and Ruger—held a special place in her heart. Known for her impeccable party planning skills, she brought joy and laughter to every gathering, ensuring those around her felt loved and most cared for. She was always the life of the party and had a fantastic, loud, unique laugh that will never be forgotten.

Her two dogs were her special babies: Dodge and Diesel

Cremation Rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life for family and friends to come together to celebrate Jessica’s life will be held at a later date and will be published when those details have been finalized.
