Jessica "Jessie" L. Graham

Jessica “Jessie” L. Graham, Beloved Wife, Mother, Aunt, Daughter & Sister on June 28, 2022, age 47, of Carmel, IN, formerly of South St. Paul, MN, passed away. Preceded in death by her father Larry Hoffbeck, Stepfather Robert Hocking, and her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. Survived by husband, Brad; children, Sarah (her amazing daughter) and Nick (her favorite son); Mother, Wendy Hocking of Sugar Grove, IL; Siblings, Tony Hocking (Holly) of Cottage Grove, MN, Melissa Hoffbeck of Burnsville, MN, Landon Hoffbeck (Cari) of Prior Lake, MN; nieces, Chloe Collins, Harper and Ellie Hocking, and Haley Hoffbeck; and many other family & friends.

Jessie moved to Carmel, IN in 1998 to pursue her career as an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) at Indianapolis Center. In the 24 years she worked with her ATC Family, she built many relationships that she held near and dear to her heart. In 2003 she married the love of her life Brad, and was also blessed with Brad’s daughter, Sarah.  Two years later their family would be complete as they welcomed son, Nick into the world.  Jessie loved to read, play games, host book club, attend church, travel, make art, photography and walking their dog Stella. After a well fought battle with triple-negative breast cancer Jessie was called home. She never stopped fighting. She never stopped smiling. She cared and loved deeply for her family, who would move earth to return that love. Anyone who knew her felt their life was blessed by her kindness and welcoming smile.  Always someone to laugh and cry with and share life’s journey.  The world was brighter with her in it and she made others feel the light and love she had to share. She was not afraid of death and where she was going, or what happened after this life. She was confident in her faith. She trusted God’s word and His promises. She is with the Lord and those that preceded her.

Through her cancer treatment she discovered a deep love and passion for art therapy. So much so, she regularly contributed to the painted rock garden with inspirational quotes at the cancer center.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, 250 W. 96^th Street, Suite 470, Indianapolis, IN 46260 or made online at give.stvincent.org.  Contributions will be used to support the cancer art therapy program.
