Jesse C. Newkirk

Jesse C. Newkirk, 69 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mooresville. He was born July 26, 1942 in Indianapolis to Gus and Florence. Jesse very much enjoyed spending time as a member of the Sons of the American Legion and V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary. He also loved being with his children and grandchildren. Jessie is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Ronald (Kimberly) Newkirk and Jesse Newkirk Jr.; granddaughters, Kelsie and Walter Leverich and Jordan, Madison and Rylee Newkirk; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Marlee Leverich and a sister, Coleen Cravens. Services will be held 12:00pm Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan - Decatur with visitation 4:00 until 8:00pm Monday, April 9, 2012 at the funeral home.
