Jesse Allen Steffy
81, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 15, 2020. Jesse was born on October 6, 1938 to the late Fred and Mable Steffy. He was an Army Veteran. He retired after sixty years as an electrician for I.B.E.W. 481. He was a member of Lynhurst Masonic Lodge #723 and the Scottish Rite. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Brewer Steffy; children, Jesse (Jacquelyn) M. Steffy, Gina (James) Lape, Mary (Lawrence) Phillips and Shelly Steffy; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 11 to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township. Funeral service will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township. Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
