Jerry Wayne 'Jay' Buckner

Jerry Wayne "Jay" Buckner, 49, passed away on October 12, 2014 after a five year battle with a failing heart. He was born July 2, 1965, and his maternal grandmother, Katie Anderson, called him her little Jay-Bird. He has been called Jay ever since. Jay is survived by his parents Laverne and Bill Buckner; daughter Kelsay Buckner (Clay) Carrigan; siblings Jonathan and Jodi; maternal aunts Millie Kaat, Joyce Whitley, Bea Anderson, Mavis Anderson, and Janet Anderson; paternal grandmother Pearl Buckner; and paternal aunt Betty Buckner (Dave) Dyer. Jay was preceded in death by his wife Kimberly Buckner; maternal grandparents Willie and Katie Anderson; and paternal grandfather Acy William Buckner. Jay will be missed by all who loved him.
