Jerry Michael Kortes

Jerry Michael Kortes, 80 of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday October 11, 2019. He was born on September 14, 1939 in Virginia, Minnesota to the late Englebert Michael and Mildred Vivienne Dorothy Kortes.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ethelena “Lena” Kortes; daughters, Kelly (Scott) Kortes Pounds, and Karla (Todd) Kortes Noonan; grandchildren, Taylor Kortes, Connor Kortes, Joshua Pounds, Jordan (Chris) Pounds Sanson, and Jack Pounds; and brothers, John Kortes, and Jeff Kortes. He is preceded in passing by his sister, Judy Kortes Ferrell.

Jerry was the most loving husband, father and “papa” to his family and is a veteran of the US Air Force. He will be greatly missed.
