Jerry N Kincaid
80, of Zionsville, IN, passed away October 15, 2012. He was born December 5, 1931, to the late Wiley Troy and Duette (Leonard) Kincaid in Salisbury, NC. He played high school football for Boyden High and was awarded a football scholarship to the University of North Carolina. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a life insurance salesman for New York Life Insurance Co. for over 20 years,having obtained Senior Nylic status and "top agent" awards.
Jerry's favorite hobby was woodworking and he created many beautiful wooden bowls, lamps and pieces of furniture.
He was known affectionately among the Zionsville Meadows residents as "the man who tells the cat joke." He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Kelly Chapman; two sons, Mark and Tony Kincaid, four stepchildren Meredith Bovin, Sue Grover, Robert Lynch, Kimberley Spry, three grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.
A Private Family Memorial Servioe will be held November 3, 2012.
