Jerry 'Jake' E. Carney

Jerry E. "Jake" Carney, Jr. 46, Indianapolis, passed away January 12, 2012. Jake worked for 22 years For Ryland Homes and was well known and respected for his fine carpentry work in the home building industry. He was a member of Moose Lodge #17. Jake loved to laugh and will forever be remembered for his silly, infectious laugh that we all loved. He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley N. Carney and Casey L. Carney; parents, Jerry and Patricia (Anderson) Carney; sister, Mary Carney; former wife, Georgia Carney and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jake adored his daughters and was proud of their accomplishments. Services for Jake will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17.
