Jerry Lee Holman, 76, passed away on October 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family, Jerry was born on September 7, 1949, to Dewey Earlis Holman and Cormie Felma Massey.
Jerry was a fiery, determined man who called it like he saw it – and didn’t care who heard him. A proud Hoosier through and through, he cheered loud and proud for the Pacers, Colts, and Fever, especially when Caitlyn Clark was lighting up the court. His love for Harley-Davidson was as strong as his appetite for a good meal of steak and potatoes, and you could bet that he’d never say no to either. Mornings were sacred – just him, a hot cup of black coffee, and a breakfast sandwich, to kick things into gear. Jerry lived full throttle, fueled by passion, humor, and a little bit of stubborn charm. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Jerry is survived by his ex-wife Debbie Holman, who remained one of his closest companions in life. He is also survived by his children Jerry (Stephanie) Holman Jr, and Cindy (Michael) Spencer; grandchildren Justin Holman, Kirstin Acton, Gerald Jake, Tre Spencer, Tyler Holman, Hannah Holman, Jordan Sullivan, Mychael Spencer; great-grandchildren Madison Holman, McKenzie Holman, Edan Acton, Journee Jake; sister Susie (Kevin) Litteral, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Dewey Earlis Holman and Cormie Felma Massey.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:00-3:00pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
