Jerrie M. Garard

Jerrie M. Garard, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully July 9^th, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born September 6^th, 1945 to parents Herman and Stella Mae (Spencer) Tharp.

On December 9^th, 1968, Jerrie married the love of her life, Marvin Garard. They shared 53 wonderful years together.

Jerrie was a loving, hardworking woman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Jerrie liked being outdoors and enjoyed fishing. She also loved to dance.

Jerrie is survived by her husband Marvin; sons James (Jo) E. Garard, Michael (Claudia) Garard, and Vernon Garard; grandchildren Josh Garard, Zach Garard, Lauren, Vincent, Rylee, Avery, Phoebe, Zach, and Josh; several great-grandchildren; and her siblings Stanley, Ray, JC, and Danny Tharp.

Besides her parents Herman and Stella Mae Tharp, she is preceded in death by her stepdaughter Pamela; her siblings Eugene, Roger, and Leah; and her beloved dog Sophie.
