Jereline Foster

Jereline "Jere" Foster 82, unexectedly left this plain to be with the Lord on December 14, 2014. Jere was the widow of her loving husband of 50 years, O. John Foster, who preceded her in death in 2003. Together Jere and John owned and operated Speedway Trophy in Speedway, IN for 29 years, retiring in 2000. Together they enjoyed traveling whether participating in air races, hiking the mountains in the northwest, visiting the Islands, or in later years just flying their plane over to a state park for a cookout. They truly understood how to live life. Jere was an amazing lady with a heart as big as her beautiful smile. She was loved and adored for her wit, strength and her wisdom. Jere was not only kind and generous to those she loved but to the numerous organizations that she donated to regularly throughout the years. Few could match her actions for environmental concerns. Jere will be greatly missed by her sister, Betty Gomez and family; her loving niece, Linda Hagerty and family; and the many nieces and nephews including her extended family in West Virginia. Visitation will be Saturday December 27, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North . Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to the donor's Charity of Choice.
