Jenny M. Mesirow

Jenny Marie Mesirow, 46, recently of South Bend, IN, passed away on August 26th after a battle with ALS. Jenny (also known as Jen, Jennye, and JJ) was preceded in death by her father, Paul Mesirow, and four grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Katherine Masleid (Homewood, IL); her partner, Geoff Walters (South Bend, IN); her sister, Amanda Mesirow (Indianapolis, IN); her brother, Michael (Krista) Mesirow (Crown Point, IN), and her loving aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended "bonus" family, and longtime friends.

Jenny loved dogs, hot air balloons, and the color pink. She will be remembered for her love of traditions, her love of chatting, and her lovely smile.

A private burial is scheduled, to be followed by a memorial service, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent via Venmo to the family to @Amanda-Mesirow or to La Rabida Children's Hospital in Chicago, IL.
