Jennifer McKenzie Maginot, 15, Fishers, passed away December 10, 2015. She was born February 11, 2000, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Paul and Michele Maginot.
Jen was proud to be a sophomore at Cathedral High School, where she was a member of the cross country team and a student ambassador. She grew up spending her summers on The Little Tippy (James Lake), where she enjoyed swimming and being with family and friends she made over the years. She loved reading, attending concerts, and being with friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious personality, and her positive outlook on life. She was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. Moreover, Jen will be missed by her beloved companion Bandit the beagle.
She is survived by her parents; siblings, Alli Maginot and Greg Maginot; grandparents, Bruce McKenzie and Jim and Helen Maginot; aunts and uncles, Terry McKenzie, Bob (Carrie) Maginot, Tom (Laura) Maginot, Sue (PatOwens) Burke, Nancy (Andy) Drake; and numerous cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2015, at Cathedral High School, 5225 East 56th Street. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Cathedral High School. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Cathedral High School or Riley Childrens Foundation. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
