Jennifer Lynn Thompson-Lingenfelter

Jennifer Lynn Thompson-Lingenfelter, 58, passed away at her home on April 20, 2023.

She was born on March 7, 1965, in Greenfield, Indiana, to Thomas Thompson and Rita Delong Mowery.

Jenny was a kind and generous person. She adored her grandchildren and always put her family above anything else in her life. She was truly the glue that held everyone together.

She loved going camping, going to the beach, and was a very lovable lunch lady who had put in 19 years of employment at Sodexo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 year, Donald Lingenfelter; daughter, Nicole; stepson, DJ; mother, Rita DeLong, brothers, John, Travis, and Benji; grandchildren, Maddi, JJ, and Lylah; many nieces and nephews; her fur babies, Cali and Blaze; and a host of other friends and family, including “The Hens”.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Jimmy; and niece, Paige.

Jenny’s funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229, with burial to follow in Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until time of service.
