Jemima Jane Edwards January 8, 1924-February 8, 2015 Jemima Jane Edwards died February 8, 2015. She was born on January 8, 1924 to Juanita and Roy Fennimore in Elkhart, IN. and spent her young years in Summitville, IN. Married to William C. Edwards in 1950, they had four daughters, Carol Ann Farrington (Richard), Majorie Bartley (Ted), Kathryn Emma Heritier (Dennis), and Barbara Jane Hurtig (Gerry). She leaves behind ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She attended Butler University and graduated from St. John Nursing School in Anderson, IN in 1946. Jane and her husband, Bill, enjoyed 50 years together until his passing 12 years ago. Playing golf, bowling, reading, and being with her family at their homes on Lake Wawasee and in Bradenton, Florida, brought them immeasurable joy and happiness. The family wishes to thank Jenny with Visiting Angels and the wonderful, caring staff at St. Vincent Hospice for their loving care and support for both Jane and her family. A private family memorial and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East. In place of flowers, the family asks memorial gifts be made in her honor to St. Vincent Hospice or The American Lung Association.
