Jeffrey Lee Gigure

Jeffrey Lee Gigure, 49, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

He was born on April 9, 1969 in Indianapolis to Claude Edward and Sandra L. (Nugent) Gigure.  Jeff attended John Marshall High School and received many certifications as a Diesel Mechanic.  He worked for many years with PFM and most recently with Hare Truck Center.  Away from work he enjoyed camping and boating at Lake Monroe, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and spending time with friends and family.  Jeff also enjoyed music and loved to play the bass.

He is survived by his father, Ed Gigure; brother, Scott (Lee Ann Ennis) Gigure; longtime companion, Joni Semich; step-children, Jordan (Steve) Borr and Matthew Semich; and grandchildren that he loved as his own.  Jeff is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Danielle, Sierra and Isaiah; and great nieces and nephew, Lillian, Willow and Jaxson.  He is also survived by his loving feline companion of 22 years, Sabrina.  Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Gigure; and step-son, Michael Evans.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2-4pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with funeral services immediately following.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
