Jeffrey Dodson

Jeffrey M. Dodson 31, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 8, 2015. He is survived by his father, Mike (spouse Sara); his mother, Becky (Mike); his sister, Melissa (Jeff); his twin brother, Joe (Jessie); two nieces, Mikinzie and Addison; two nephews, Michael and Jaiden; and his dog, Sloan. Jeff was a graduate of Cornerstone University with a Bachelor's degree in philosophy. He worked as an analyst at Farmer's Insurance Group. His co-workers knew him as an invaluable team member with an admirable work ethic. Jeff could have a good conversation with anyone. He was full of questions, always curious, and he had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Jeff was a loyal friend to many, and he could often be found cooking delicious meals for groups of his friends and family. In his free time, he enjoyed biking, exploring Grand Rapids, the city he so loved, and playing with his dog, Sloan. Jeff loved to travel and had a trip planned to Thailand this winter with 5 of his closest friends. His family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 14th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Graveside services will immediately follow at 3pm in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations can be made in Jeff's name to Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue in Grand Rapids.
