It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jeannette Faye Lee, 85 of Noblesville. She was born October 30, 1936 to the late Fred and Nora (Greene) Garrison in Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated from Mauldin High School where she was a star basketball player.
Jeannette previously worked for Indiana Bell and Budget rent a car. Her favorite hobbies were going to garage sales and collecting. Being from South Carolina her favorite foods were fried chicken, sweet potato casserole, fried okra and cornbread and don’t forget catfish. She also enjoyed playing fast pitch and intermural softball.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 20 at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John Bennett Lee; brother, James Garrison; brother-in-law, Paul Garrison Jr. She is survived by her children, Tina (David) Boonstra, and John Brian Lee; grandchildren, Kyle (Tiffany Barr) Boonstra, Matthew Boonstra, Cody (Naomi Killham) Lee, and Kayla (Zach Carroll) Lee; great grandchildren, Lily, Olivia, Nora, Iris and Crosby; sister, Patsy Garrison; half-sister, Rita Ann Seal; half-brother, Freddie Garrison; nieces, Jean Ann Brewer, Karen (Randall) Ison, Terri (Paul Tuhy) Garrison; nephew, Jeffery (Donna) Garrison.
She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved going down memory lane and telling stories.
