Jeanie I Chew

Jeanie I. Chew, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away February 3, 2018. She was born on May 28, 1946 in Westmoreland, Tennessee as the daughter of John “Carnie” and Nell H. (Fuqua) Hoskins.

Jeanie enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Jeanie is survived by her husband, Richard L. Chew; children, Lisa Hoskins, Michelle Coffman, Richard Thomas Chew and Misty Chew; siblings, Frieda Richardson, Linda Hoskins and Helen Hoskins; grandchildren, Sheena (Cliff) East, Austin Coffman, Ashley Purvis, Jada Edmonson, Thomas Chew, Lisa Workman and Nina Combs; and great grandchildren, Bronxton and Knighten East. Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents, Carnie and Nell Hoskins; and siblings, James Hoskins, Sam Hoskins, LV Hoskins, Wayne Hoskins, Danny Hoskins, Mary Adams, Evelyn Cape and Shirley Cape.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11am also at the funeral center. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
