Jean Maggard
80 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 30, 2023, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jean was born on October 26, 1942, in Logan, West Virginia, to the late Alfred and Dorothy Rakes. She was a retired supervisor for Ertle Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Maggard; daughter, Peggy Thomas; siblings, Gary Rakes, Bonnie Rakes and Sandra Gallet and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Maggard; children, Glenda Goldsby, Melissa (Brian) King, Nicol Laffin, Stevi (Hunter) Whitaker and Brayden Maggard; eleven grandchildren and great grandchildren and ten siblings. Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
