Jean Huber

Jean Catherine Mellett Hamilton Huber of Indianapolis, entered eternal life on her 96th birthday, September 18, 2012. Jean was born on September 18, 1916, the second of four children born to Don and Florence Mellett. Her parents; brother, Don; sister, Betty Davis; and her son Stephen Hamilton preceded her in death. Her husband, Scott Huber, died on July 22, 2003. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Schubert Adams and sister, Martha Miller. Jean also leaves many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren along with many friends who will also miss her. Jean was a member of Alpha Zeta Beta-Alpha TAU Chapter, the Smyrna Shrine Guild, American Legion Post 34, and Northside Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed sharing life with others and loved her little dog, Hubie. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
