Jean Elizabeth (Springsteen) Bart 71 of Indianapolis, IN died September 27, 2011. Jean was born on September 18, 1940 in East Chicago, IN to Louis and Ruth (Voigt) Springsteen. Jean was an English Teacher for children in elementary through middle school in East Chicago, IN and in East Los Angeles, CA. Jean is a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Sharon Nagel. Calling is scheduled for Sunday October 02, 2011 from 3 PM to 5 PM at St. Monica Catholic Church in the Daily Chapel 6131 North Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46228 with additional calling on Monday October 03, 2011 from 11 AM to the time of the funeral mass at 1 PM. Jean is survived by her husband John Joseph Bart, sons John C. (Mary) Bart and Steven L. (Teri) Bart, two granddaughters Gabrielle and Elizabeth Bart and two brothers Jim (Phyllis) Springsteen and Warren Springsteen. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
