Jean Eleanor Salladay

Jean Eleanor Salladay, 98, of Indianapolis, formerly of Lexington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was born on June 27, 1913 in Elyria, OH to William and Louise Wagner. Jean earned her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University, and taught grades 1-8 in a one-room school house. She owned and operated Trio Products in Elyria, OH. Jean is survived by her daughter, Gayle (Robert) Parke; grandchildren, Bob (Michelle) Parke, William (Becky) Parke, Sherry (John) Camden; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Thelma Snodgrass. Funeral Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Speedway on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 3 pm, with visitation 2 hours prior to the services. A private burial will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery on Monday. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Speedway Christian Church.
