Jean Cameron, age 90, of New Palestine died December 25, 2015.
Jean was born November 14, 1925 in Edmonton Alberta, Canada to Sam and Pauline Korsavich Lemiski. She met the love of her life, Ray Cameron during World War II with whom she spent 67 years of marriage. Living in Detroit for several years, they added to their family with son Greg J. Cameron. They relocated to Indianapolis so Ray could pursue a career in sales.
Jean was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Gregory J. (Karen L.) Cameron, grandchildren Bradley (Amy) Cameron and Ryan Cameron, and sister Helen (Bernie) Rickter. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 29 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East with visitation 10 AM until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
