Jean Ann "Jeanie" Curtis

Jean Ann “Jeanie” Curtis, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully May 1st, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis, August 31st, 1946 to parents George R. and Margene (McGee) Jones.

She graduated from Scecina Memorial High School, class of 1964.

Jean worked as an operator for Indiana Bell/AT&T for over 38 years before retiring.

On July 22nd, 1994, she married the love of her life, Jim Curtis. They were a couple for 38 years, and married for 27 years.

Jean was a strong, loving woman. She loved the Peanuts character Snoopy, and loved to watch the Game Show Network. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking rides on her motorcycle. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Jim Curtis; her sons Chris (Crystal) Shea, and David (Heidi) Curtis; several loving grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on a later date.
