Janice May Strange

Janice May (Walls) Strange, age 65 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Janice was born on October 7, 1960 in Athens, Ohio, a daughter of James Vernon and Diana (Smith) Walls. Janice is preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Geoffrey Walls.

She married Glenn Strange on September 19, 1991 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years: Glenn Strange of Indianapolis.

She is also survived by her children: Melanie Jones, Glenn Strange Jr., Diana (husband Derrick) Mize and Carl Strange.

Her grandchildren: Adam Jones, Sabrina Jones, Dj Mize, Matthew Strange, Aries Mize, Stella Strange, Evelyn Mize, Ellie Strange, and Mia Strange.

Janice's siblings: Joyce Monday, Michael Walls, Geoffrey Walls (deceased), Ramona Ohms, Jonathon Walls, Rena Lee, Gary Walls, Linda Loesch, Robert Walls, Darren Walls, Darlene Lowe, and Duane Walls. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

An additional time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM also at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center.

The funeral service to celebrate Janice's life will follow at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
