Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, loves leaves a memory no one can steal. Janice passed away on Friday June 11, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born January 2, 1939 in Cannelton, IN. She was employed at Roudebush VA Hospital for 35 years, retiring in March 2000.

Surviving is her husband, Bill Gaw of Anderson, IN; daughter, Connie (Larry) Hunter; son, Timothy Sewell; brother, Mike Shephard; and sister, Diana Shephard. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Dwayne Sewell; and son, Gary Sewell.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday June 21, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229). Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
