Janice Onda

Janice L. Onda, 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 31, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1932, in Clinton, Indiana, to parents, Robert Lee Murdock and Lucille (Eller) Murdock.

Janice is survived by her children, John David Onda (Amy), Susan Hodges (David) and Sharon Calderone (Jamie); grandchildren: Caitlind Hoff (Jason), Michael Ewen, Samuel Calderone and Alex Calderone; great-granddaughters, Adeline Hoff, Mia Hoff, Wren Hoff and Baby Girl Hoff.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, John Albert Onda; their parents; granddaughter, Cassandra Ewen; brother, Robert Murdock; brother in-law, Charles Robert Onda; sister-in-law, Marlene Woodruff. 

Her family wants to give a special thank you to Harbour Manor, Noblesville for their compassionate and kind care for Janice and her family.

Friends may gather from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist, 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the mass at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
