Janice L. Gaunce

Janice L. Gaunce, 72, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born April 26, 1942 in South Bend, IN to the late David Foster and Marie Hornung Farinacci. She was a 1960 graduate of Warren Central High School. Janice loved cooking and baking, and won many ribbons at the Indiana State Fair for baking, canning, and sewing. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, music, nature, and camping. She loved to read, and was especially fond of reading the Bible. She was a life-long Lutheran, and will be dearly missed by all her friends and relatives. Surviving are her children Michael (Citlalli), Tim, and Andy (Stephanie); siblings Patricia Racinski and David (Barbara) Foster; and grandchildren Nora, Ellis, Levon, and Danitza. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Gaunce. Memorials may be made to the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
