Janice L. Ball

Janice Ball, 78, went home to be with Our Lord on February 17, 2022. She passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Fredericksburg, VA after a lengthy illness.

Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, Janice met and married the love of her life, William Ball, a United States Naval Officer. This led Janice to her new adventure, a move to California, where she raised her family. She later returned to Indiana and resided in Mooresville.

As a homemaker, Janice had an impeccable flare for interior decorating, and she was an exceptional cook. She also enjoyed being on the Navy Wives Club Bowling League.

Janice is preceded in passing by her husband William; two daughters, Sherri and Kimberly; a grandson, Michael Christopher Ball; a sister, Linda Jo Snider; and parents, Vernon and Willie Mae Harrison.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela Hernandez (Tony) of Fredericksburg, VA and Brittany Ball of Mooresville, IN; a son, William Jeffrey Ball (Brenda) of Los Angeles, CA. Janice also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister, Vivian Miller, other family members, and a host of friends, including her life-long friend of nearly seven decades, Jane Ping of Indianapolis, IN.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road Indianapolis, IN.
