Janice B. Seidensticker

Janice Bernadine Seidensticker, 82, Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord December 11, 2020. She was born January 1, 1938 as a twin with brother James “Jimmy” Bory in Chicago Heights, Cook County, IL and attended Bloom Township High School, graduating in 1956.

She auditioned and was selected to the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington Indiana
and completed her education at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. She starred in Arsenic and Old Lace and Macbeth among other productions.

Janice served in many Women’s groups and organizations throughout her life including the Jacob’s School of music and served as president of the woman’s committee of Clowes Hall for 2 years and was a key member of the Red Hat Society. She was a soloist with the city branch of the metropolitan Presbyterian branch of IU Indianapolis for 10 years.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, James Seidensticker, children, Sandy Piper (Dan), Ann Wendroff (Steve), Caitilin Ashley, Chaoch Seidensticker, Bryan Seidensticker (Elaina), and ten grandchildren.

She will be interned at Crown Hill Cemetery in a private ceremony.
