Janet O. Bledsoe

Janet O. Bledsoe, 78, passed away February 16, 2012. She was born August 4, 1933 to the late Ross W. and Emma James. She married Carl P. Bledsoe on Oct. 31, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2004. Survivors include; children, Phil, Carla (Fred), Mark, Cheryl (Scott); 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emma Jean Endsley, John R. (Aggie) James, Webb (Ann) James, Tubb (Donna) James, Tom (Phyllis) James, Latisha Autison, Sandra Sue (Tom) Ames. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Francis "Frankie"James, Doris Johnson and Patricia James and brother, Robert M James. Janet graduated from Van Buren High School. Janet touched a lot of people and changed a lot of lives. She was mom to many and grannie to all. Janet was endlessly involved with anything that had to do with children. Her greatest joy was watching children play. Friends may call Monday from 4:00-9:00PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park 9350 E. Washington Street. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
