Janet K. Sokolek

Janet K. Sokolek, 76, Fishers, passed away January 25, 2018. She was born February 2, 1941 in Indianapolis to James and Betty Barber. Janet was a group leader for 25 years at Jenn-Air before retiring. She was very devoted to her family and was known for her love of antiques and her taste for sweets, especially donuts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her children, Michael (Rheba) Lundsford, Brian (Sheri) Lundsford, Darren (Kimberly) Lundsford, Cynthia (Edgardo) Aviles, Steven (Amanda) Lundsford, grandchildren, Michael, Mandy, Timothy, Shay, Trevor, Linda, Alissa, Daniela, Maura, Juliana, Erin, and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd, from 3-6pm. Funeral services will be held there Monday at 11am, with visitation one hour prior. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
