Janet Irene Housel, 92, of Greenwood, IN, passed away on May 31, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1929 in Alma, MI to the late Charles and Sarah Sova. She retired from Bay Medical Hospital in Bay City, MI where she had worked as a registered nurse. Janet was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church of Indianapolis and was actively involved in her parish contributing her time and passion in helping others.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Housel. She is survived by her children Michelle (David) LaPan; grandchildren Nicole (Kevin) Shamsabadi, Eric (Kimberly) Hunt, Matthew Hunt, Michael Keyser; great grandchildren Noah Hunt and Desmond Keyser.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
