Janet Barbee

Janet C. Barbee, of Lawrence, IN, passed away September 19, 2015. Janet was born in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of the late Robert L. and Doris H. (Gibbs) Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church. Preceded by her brother-in-law, Ralph Muse. Janet is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert; her son, Kevin Lee Barbee, her daughter, Stacey Jo Barbee; grandchildren, Amanda Roller and Amber Bloss and her husband Jacob; great grandchildren, Conner Jackson, Keegan Ryan and Kendall Elizabeth; her sister Barbara Lee Muse and her brother Richard Earl Wright and his wife Marilyn. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, September 25, 2015 at Lawrence United Methodist Church, 5200 Shadeland Ave. Lawrence, IN 46226. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service time at the church. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East entrusted with services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91st St. St 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
