Janet Sue Wampler Abram, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, friendship, and fierce love for her people.
Jan loved her family more than anything. She poured her heart into raising her four strong-willed and funny children — Dale, Donnie, Rusty, and Denise — and took endless pride in the people they became. Being a mom was one of her greatest joys, and that joy only grew as she became a grandma and great grandma. Her family was her heart, and she made sure they always knew it.
She shared nearly 63 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Don Abram. Together they built a life full of memories, companionship, travel, and quiet everyday moments that meant the most. Their love and commitment were an example to all who knew them.
She attended school in Knightstown and always enjoyed reunions and reconnecting with her school friends, holding onto those lifelong ties and the stories they shared.
Jan treasured friendship. She spent many happy years with her close friends in a camping club, making memories and forming bonds that lasted a lifetime. No matter how much time passed, those friendships remained close to her heart.
Jan found a deep and meaningful faith in God and became an active member of her local church. There she found not only spiritual comfort, but also a community of dear friends she loved and who loved her in return.
Jan will be remembered for her love, her loyalty, her sense of humor, and the way she made people feel welcomed and cared for. Her legacy lives on in the family she raised, the friendships she nurtured, and the faith she carried in her heart.
She is survived by: her husband, Don Abram, her brother Bob Wampler & Sister Betty Conway, her children: Dale Allen (Judy), Donnie Abram (Susan), Rusty Abram (Lisa), and Denise Ehemann (Jerry), her grandchildren: James Allen, Samantha Rickert (AJ), Collin Abram (Willow), Jessica Allen, and Brad Abram (Tasha) ,and her great-grandchildren: Donnie, Violet, Lily, Wiley
