Jane Cynthia Moore

Jane Cynthia Moore died unexpectedly in her home, June 18, 2016. She was born in Indianapolis, but grew up in Benton, Illinois. Jane was the only child of Dr. Sidney and Helen Robinson Moore. She attended MacMurray College and received her bachelor and master degrees in early childhood education. For many years, Jane taught in the suburbs of Chicago and the Indianapolis Public School System. Jane also enjoyed the years that she taught Montessori in IPS. Much of Ms. Moore's retirement was spent gardening, volunteering and supporting Conner Prairie, Caroline Scott Harrison chapter of DAR, Meridian Street Methodist Church and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. A private memorial will be later this fall.
