Jane Craig Patrick Cradick

September 18, 1919 — February 15, 2012

Jane Craig Patrick Cradick 92, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. She was born September 18, 1919 in Evansville, IN to Charles and Grace Craig Patrick. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, attended St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN and completed her education at Methodist Hospital becoming a registered medical technologist. She married Raymond V. Cradick, the love of her life, in 1943. She was a long-time member of Prentice (Christ) Presbyterian Church, Indiana Historical Society, Indianapolis Museum of Art and the St. Olaf Alumni Association. She contributed many volunteer hours to her church, her daughters' schools and the art museum. She was an artist, seamstress, writer, storyteller and family historian. She especially loved setting a beautiful table, cooking delicious meals and being surrounded by family and friends in her dining room. Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ann (John) Parry of Charlotte, NC; Jan Christine (David) Moody of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Tom (Tracey) Parry of San Jose, CA., Christine Parry of Arlington, VA; Michael (Heather) Moody of Indianapolis; Joseph (Dawn) Moody of Kempton, IN; great-grandchildren David, Phoenix, Anna and Piper Moody; sister Marjorie Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband and two brothers, John and David Patrick, preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
