Janalynn K. "Jannie" Tucker, 65 of Carmel, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Jannie was born January 19, 1948 in Indianapolis. She was a customer service representative for Pitney-Bowes serving the clients and lawyers of Faegre Baker and Daniels. Prior, she worked for Royal Pin Leisure Centers for over 20 years. She grew up in the City Market and helped her mother, who owned Bea's Bakery, run that business as well as others. Jannie has served as president of the Carmel American Legion Auxiliary for 15 years and was a lifetime member of the Auxiliary. She was a member of the Carmel VFW Auxiliary, member emeritus of the US Bowling Congress and served as the state and local director for USBC. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 3 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday. Jannie is survived by her husband, Richard L.; children, Rae Anne (Todd) Wilson and Marc L. Gaudet; six step-children; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; mother, Beatie Cummings; sister, Cassandra Pavka. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Cummings.
