Jan Ogle

Janet “Jan” Louise Houghland Ogle, 86, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on June 10, 2026. She was born on September 11, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late James Franklin Houghland and Lucy Elizabeth Perigo Houghland.

Jan retired from AT&T. Prior to that she worked in the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 43 years, Donald Floyd Ogle.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Robin Berlin. Also James Ogle, Joan Ogle Kahn (Ralph), and Jeannine Ogle Henderson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, cousins, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was known as MawMaw to her grandchildren.

A Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, from 4pm to 6pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN 46032. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fishers, Indiana.
