James Leroy Zollner

James Leroy Zollner, 95, of Zionsville, Indiana, formerly Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on March 21, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born in Bargersville, Indiana to Edith (Lyster) and Walter Zollner on September 15, 1928.

James graduated from George Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1946. He was employed as a Superintendent of Overhead Powerlines for Indianapolis Power and Light for 42 and a half years until retirement in 1990.

James is survived by his children, Jim, Jerry, Jeff, Ron, Chuck, David, Sue Morris, Jana Stevenson, and Juanita Linton, sister, Sara Zollner, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Admire) Zollner, his parents, Edith (Lyster) and Walter Zollner, and brothers, Robert and Richard Zollner.

Private services will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of James L. Zollner.
