James Wilson Rector

James Wilson Rector, 69 of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday January 24, 2021. He was born on December 18, 1951 in Muncie, IN to the late Jeanette Rector. James was a proud Vietnam War Veteran. He had several different jobs throughout his life including the bakery, where he met his wife, and the post office, where he served as acting supervisor of mail sorting.

His family includes his wife of over 30 years, Shirley A. Rector; children, Donald (Anne) Hall, Ronald Hall (deceased) and wife April Hall, Jamie Polubinski, and Tamara Harmon; grandchildren, Major (Addison) Hall, Jeniece Hall, Kevin Rector, Nicholas Polubinski, and Kayla Powell; sister, Cathy Stough; sisters-in-laws, Clydedean Bell, and Janice Hardin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
