James W. Miner, 57, of Carmel passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 2, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1964, in Indianapolis, the son of the late William R. and E. Anne (Fleming) Miner. He married Karen Ehrlich on September 20, 1991.
Jim was a 1983 graduate of Carmel High School and a 1987 graduate of Wabash College where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He recently retired from Merck Animal Health after a wonderful 34 year career in pharmaceutical sales. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He loved to fish and play golf all while enjoying a good cigar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karen Miner; and their two children, Eric and Jennifer. He was preceded in passing by his brother, John David Miner.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road followed by a procession to Hamilton Memorial Park in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association https://www.mbara.org. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
