James D. Sanders

83 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 7, 2025. James was born on March 27, 1942, in Hardy, Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Elizabeth Sanders. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was a retired custodian at Center Grove High School. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Pence, brother William Sanders, great granddaughter Evelyn Confer and his parents. He is survived by his wife Inis Sanders, children Maria Brenton, Wendy (Tim) McDaniel and Peggy Boyd, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
