James Ruben Waldroup

James Ruben Waldroup, age 85 of Wesley Chapel Florida born Jan. 24,1931 passed away August 20 2016. He was born in Robbinsville, North Carolina and raised his family in New Palestine, Indiana.

He is survived by six children, James Larry Waldroup, Nettie Hogue, Sheila Bolton, Marietta(Kevin) Senter, Michael L. Waldroup, and David W. Waldroup. Ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Mary V. Waldroup, parents R.V. Waldroup and Caroline Queen Waldroup.

He was a member of the New Palestine Masonic Lodge for 50 years and served in the army during the Korean War.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Flanner Buchanan–Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN with visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
