James "Jim" Richard Webster
80, of Indianapolis, Indiana, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2011. He was born in Bedford, Indiana on August 13, 1931 to Vet Richard and Mabel Stevens Webster. Jim graduated from Bedford High School in 1949 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. On July 31, 1954, Jim married Shirley Ann Arnold in Bedford, Indiana. He worked at John Sexton & Company/US Food Service as an assistant plant engineer retiring in 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Shirley, four sisters; Madie Allen, Helen Webster both of Bedford, IN, Francis (Robert) Priddy of Rushville, IN and Nancy (Charles) Hardin of Bloomington; son, Jeff Webster and wife Marsha of Brownsburg, IN; daughter, Teri Webster of Indianapolis, IN and his three grandchildren, Tyler Webster, Madelyn Webster and Seth Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles D. Webster of Bedford, IN and John "Jay" D. Webster of Vallejo, CA and his sister Iris Rose Webster Priddy of Bedford, IN. Jim will be remembered as a kind, gentle, generous, loving man. Services will be 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on January 4, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway. Pastors Mike Cottrell and Doug Talley will be officiating. Entombment will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
