James P. Telford

Age 66 of Santa Teresa, New Mexico, passed away on September 8, 2023, in Avon, Indiana.  James was born on December 14, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Leo Telford and Margaret Thomas.  He was a 1975 graduate of Ben Davis High School.  He was the owner of Double T RV Service.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge.  He was a loving husband, father, Pee Paw, brother and friend.  He loved life and laughter.  He had an adventurous soul and loved to travel. He loved his dog Krammer and hiking in the desert.  He was also a passionate Colts fan.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa Telford; daughter, Jennifer (Alex) Perez; grandchildren, Mateo and Kendall Perez and siblings, Beverley (Dean) Wooten, Lois (Lloyd Dean) Hancock and John (Sue) Doty.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Robin’s Nest of Indy.
