James P. Ellis

James P. Ellis, 63, of Westfield passed away September 22, 2021.  He was born October 21, 1957, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late F.E. and F.F. (Bolner) Ellis.  He married Pamela A. Archbold on May 28, 1977.

Jim attended Fort Wayne Bible College and later the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Institute where he became an Air Traffic Controller. He is remembered for his incredible love of Jesus Christ and desire that everyone come to know their Savior. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pamela Ellis; three children, James C. (LiaAnn) Ellis, Anna (Donny) Connelly, Joshua (Kellie) Ellis; eight grandchildren, Madison, Timothy, Lydia, Wyatt, Griffin, Duke, Mae, and MaiLy; two sisters, Elizabeth (Roger) Morehead and Susan (Dave) Snowdon; and two brothers, Dan (Laura) Ellis and Michael.

Family Calling will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Harvest Church, 14550 River Road, Carmel, IN, with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harvest Church, Carmel, “In Memory of Jim Ellis.”  Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.  Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park.
